Sunday 21 January 2024 - Epiphany Carol Service

Recorded on
Sunday, 21 January 2024

The choir celebrates the season of Epiphany with a candlelit service of readings, carols and hymns that tell of the coming of Christ, the Magi's visit, and the presentation in the Temple.

The music includes works by Sweelinck, Mendelssohn, Poulenc, and Kirbye, as well as works by the contemporary composers Jonathan Dove, Becky McGlade, and Joanna Marsh. Marsh's 'Refugee' was commissioned by the Master and Fellows of the college, and received its first performances at our Epiphany services on Saturday and Sunday.
