Each year a service is held in Easter Term to commemorate the benefactors of the College. The catalogue of benefactors, which is read out during the service, features some notable figures - St John Fisher, William Gaskell (an 'opium agent'), Thomas Baker (an 'ejected' Fellow of the college) and of course the foundress of the College, Lady Margaret Beaufort, mother of King Henry VII.
The commitment, projection and natural energy of this choir have never failed to inspire me
