Choral Evensong in celebration of the 80th Birthday of Dr Christopher Robinson CVO CBE - 7 May 2016

Dr Christopher Robinson was Director of Music at St John's College, Cambridge from 1991-2003. He was formerly organ scholar at Christ Church, Oxford before becoming Director of Music at Worcester Cathedral and then St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle. Outside of church music, he was conductor of the City of Birmingham Choir from 1964-2002 and conductor of the Oxford Bach Choir from 1976-1997. He retired in 2003, at the end of his tenure at St John's. 

In 2011, former Choral Scholars and Choristers gathered to sing a similar evensong in celebration of his 75th birthday. The service is available to listen to here: http://sms.cam.ac.uk/collection/1132941
